VOXA, the athlete-focused talent agency founded by golf icon Suzann Pettersen, has been named Women’s Sports Start-Up of the Year at the prestigious ISC Women’s Sport Business Awards 2025.
The ISC Women’s Sport Business Awards celebrate and recognise outstanding achievements across the women’s sports industry, shining a spotlight on the organisations, campaigns, and individuals driving growth, visibility, and impact globally. The Women’s Sports Start-Up of the Year category honours emerging businesses that are transforming the women’s sports landscape with innovation, leadership, and meaningful contributions.
VOXA was recognised for its pioneering approach to empowering athletes as individuals within women’s golf – supporting them both on and off the course. VOXA is a home for some of the world’s best players, offering them the tools, network, and visibility to thrive and has quickly established itself as a leading force in how players are represented in women’s golf.

Alongside VOXA’s recognition, the team is also celebrating a well-deserved spotlight for one of its own. Shandi Strong, Senior Player Manager at VOXA, has been named in the ISC’s prestigious 30 Under Thirty list, which recognises rising leaders making a significant impact across the global sports industry.
Shandi brings bold thinking, a creative approach, and a strong commitment to advancing women’s golf. From her early days as a PGA Tour intern to her supporting role in establishing VOXA, she has consistently pushed boundaries and brought fresh energy to the sport. Her inclusion in the 30 Under Thirty is not only a personal achievement but also a reflection of VOXA’s mission to champion the next generation of innovators and leaders within women’s sport.
VOXA represents a growing roster of world-class players including Ruoning Yin, Shannon Tan, Gaby Lopez, Carlota Ciganda, Ashley Lau, Sophia Popov and Adela Cernousek, all of whom are benefitting from the company’s athlete-first approach and non-traditional management ethos.
