A relationship spanning more than 18 years, beginning with golf course consulting in 2008 and evolving to include meaningful opportunities for First Tee México participants.
Pizá Golf® is proud to celebrate its long-standing relationship with VidantaWorld, a partnership that began in 2008 and continues through golf course consulting, professional tournament support, and a shared commitment to advancing the game for future generations.
“VidantaWorld has been a valued client and partner for decades,” said Arch. Agustín Pizá, M.Sc., Founder and CEO of Pizá Golf. “Our relationship has grown through a shared respect for the game and a belief in golf’s ability to create meaningful experiences, strengthen communities and inspire the next generation. VidantaWorld is the largest golf developer in Latin America, and it has been a privilege to watch their continued growth and impact on the game.”
For more than 18 years, Pizá Golf has served as an external golf consultant to VidantaWorld, providing strategic guidance and project-management expertise in support of the company’s golf long-term vision. The relationship reflects a mutual dedication to quality, innovation and creating golf experiences that positively influence their surrounding communities.
“Working with Ángel Gomez, director of Golf at VidantaWorld, has been inspiring. He’s one of the most hard-working gentlemen you can find in our industry. It’s an absolute privilege to see how him and his team has helped bring VidantaWorld Golf to the next level.”
That hard work is showcased through the VidantaWorld Mexico Open, an official PGA Tour event hosted at the VidantaWorld Vallarta Course in Vallarta-Nuevo Nayarit. The 2026 tournament marks the first edition with VidantaWorld serving as the event’s title sponsor, venue, and operator.
Since the Mexico Open arrived at Vidanta in 2022, Pizá Golf and First Tee México have helped young participants become part of the tournament experience. First Tee México members have volunteered as standard bearers and participated in additional activities designed to introduce them to championship golf, professional players and the many opportunities surrounding the sport.
The collaboration has also included special programming for First Tee México participants. During the 2024 Mexico Open festivities, young golfers and their families were invited to attend First Tee México Day, which included a golf clinic with professional players and opportunities to experience the tournament on an international stage.
“Giving young people the opportunity to walk alongside PGA Tour professionals, volunteer inside the ropes and experience an event of this magnitude can have a lasting impact. They see that golf is not only a sport they can play, but a world in which they can learn, contribute, and build a future.”
VidantaWorld’s hosting of the tournament has helped bring international attention to golf in Mexico while creating opportunities to make the game more accessible to young people and new audiences. The VidantaWorld Mexico Open will return to VidantaWorld Vallarta from October 26 through November 1, 2026, with tournament competition taking place October 29 through November 1.
Through its enduring relationship with VidantaWorld and continued involvement with First Tee México, Pizá Golf remains committed to supporting initiatives that extend beyond the golf course and contribute to the long-term development of the game.
“Our work with VidantaWorld represents what a successful partnership should be—built on trust, strengthened over time, and united by a vision that reaches beyond business. We are proud of what we have accomplished together and even more inspired by the opportunities ahead.”
