Following a hugely successful tournament, which saw Team Europe retain the Solheim Cup in September, PING has announced its continued support of the event as the Official Apparel Supplier in 2024 and 2026 for the retaining cup holders.
The performance driven apparel – that was specially designed and crafted with the support of European captain Suzann Pettersen – featured premium technologies befitting the high-quality competition on show at the tournament in Finca Cortesin.
“The event this year was fantastic and it was great to see the European Team wearing their uniforms proudly in front of a passionate home crowd,” commented Lisa Lovatt, Managing Director of PING Europe. “We are delighted with the positive feedback from the team and supporters, and we look forward to continuing the journey as the Official Apparel Supplier for Team Europe in 2024 and 2026.
The Solheim Cup has always been synonymous with PING – and of course the Solheim family – and this year, our involvement with the European team outfits emphasised our unwavering commitment to the women’s game and the development of a wonderful event that holds such a special place in our hearts.”
The commitment for 2024 and 2026 will see PING embark on its fourth consecutive time as Team Europe’s Official Apparel Supplier. The brand’s ongoing support of the Solheim Cup has played a key part in the event and PING will once again play an integral role in making sure the European team continue to look and feel their best on the course.

About The Solheim Cup
The Solheim Cup combines the tradition and prestige of the game of golf with passion for one’s country and continent. This biennial, trans-Atlantic team match-play competition features the best European players from the Ladies European Tour (LET) and the best U.S. players from the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour.
Held every two years, the event has grown into the most prestigious international women’s professional golf team event. The Solheim Cup is the most highly coveted trophy in women’s professional golf team competition; some of the most memorable moments in the sport have happened during past Solheim Cups and berths on the European and U.S. teams are highly sought-after by players from both organisations. The Solheim Cup is named in honour of Karsten and Louise Solheim, the founders of Karsten Manufacturing Corporation, which makes PING golf equipment.
The first Solheim Cup was staged in 1990, with the latest 2023 Solheim Cup having taken place on September 22-24 at Finca Cortesín in Spain. The European Team retained the trophy after a 14-14 tie. The U.S. Team currently holds a 10-8 lead heading into the 2024 Solheim Cup.
The 2024 Solheim Cup will be staged at Robert Trent Jones in Gainesville, Virginia from September 10-15, 2024 with PING and Rolex as Global Partners.
