The Peter Cowen Academy at Emirates Golf Club has unveiled its fully refurbished facilities, setting a new benchmark for golf instruction in the Middle East. This transformation combines advanced technology with expert instruction to deliver an enhanced learning environment for golfers of all levels.

Emirates Golf Club has long been recognised as one of the most sought-after golf facilities in the world, attracting golfers eager to experience its iconic Majlis course, host to the DP World Tour’s famed Hero Dubai Desert Classic. With the addition of the renewed Peter Cowen Academy, the club has further solidified its reputation as a premier destination, offering international golfers an unmatched blend of world-class facilities and an exceptional golfing experience.

The newly upgraded academy features a purpose-built building housing cutting-edge Swing Studios, a Simulator Studio, and a Putting Studio. Equipped with the latest Trackman 4 technology for precise swing analysis, 3D motion capture systems for detailed biomechanical insights, V1 Swing Analysis for comprehensive performance reviews, and Swing Catalyst Dual Force Plate technology for ground force measurement, the academy offers players unparalleled tools to improve their game.

The innovative Putting Studio is another highlight with a state-of-the-art ZEN Greenstage, featuring adjustable gradients that replicate real course conditions, providing a practical and immersive practice experience with the inclusion of PuttView technology. Emirates Golf Club is proud to lead the way in the region by integrating these state-of-the-art technologies, setting a new standard for golf instruction.

Christopher May, Chief Executive Officer of Dubai Golf, commented: “The transformation of the Peter Cowen Academy underscores our ongoing commitment to providing exceptional golf instruction at our venues. These state-of-the-art enhancements elevate the learning experience for players, helping them refine their skills and fully embrace the game. Emirates Golf Club continues to lead the way in golf education, and we are delighted to deliver these world-class facilities to our community.”

The upgraded Peter Cowen Academy reaffirms Emirates Golf Club’s dedication to excellence, offering a seamless blend of cutting-edge technology and expert coaching to empower golfers of all abilities to reach their highest potential.

Since its inception in 1988, Emirates Golf Club has been a cornerstone of golf’s evolution in the Middle East. In January, the Majlis Course will host the 36th edition of the DP World Tour’s Rolex Series event, the Hero Dubai Desert Classic. The club is also home to the floodlit Faldo Course, a short course, 12 padel courts, gym and spa facilities, and Topgolf Dubai, making it a premier destination for sports and recreation in the region.
