Swiss Golf has become the latest governing body to provide World Handicapping System (WHS) accreditation to Golf Genius, the leading provider of cloud-based golf software solutions, for its renowned Tournament Management software.
The news means Golf Genius can fully integrate into the Swiss Golf WHS database and provide customers with the following functions relating to digital handicapped golf events:
● Synchronise WHS compliant golf course scorecards
● Synchronise members from the Swiss WHS database for automatic handicap index updates
● Access to the entire WHS database to easily add guests from other clubs into competitions and validate their handicap index
● Post scores back to the WHS database for handicapping purposes
● A custom club mobile app that allows golfers to post general play scores
Golf Genius has led the way with WHS accreditations since the new system was introduced, with Swiss Golf joining many other governing bodies to have done so, including the Netherlands Golf Federation; each golf association in the United Kingdom & Ireland; GolfRSA; Golf Australia; and Golf New Zealand.
Through this WHS accreditation, every golf facility in Switzerland can now connect with Golf Genius Tournament Management and follow other users in the country that are running digital handicapped golf events.
