The PGA TOUR returns to Mexico this week for the Mexico Open at Vidanta, the final event before the TOUR heads east. Tony Finau returns to defend his title. Incredibly, he’s managed finishes of T2-Win since it was introduced in 2022. He hasn’t missed a cut this season and claimed T19 last week at The Genesis Invitational. Nicolai Højgaard will also be in Mexico and enters the week on a run of 13 consecutive cuts made worldwide including a win, two seconds and a third. He finished 33rd at Vidanta Vallarta last season en route to earning his TOUR card via non-member FedExCup points. Emiliano Grillo will also be teeing it up this week. He’s already made six out of six cuts on the season with four top-25s. He’s also two-for-two at Vidanta Vallarta with a strong T5 finish last year. Others to look out for are Thorbjorn Olesen, Robert McIntyre and Thomas Detry.
