Farleigh Golf Club has revolutionised its tournament management and event hosting with the implementation of the cutting-edge Golf Genius software.
The Surrey venue is continuing to stay ahead of the game by making sure it has the latest technology to thrive and offer the very best member and guest experience, while continuing to attract golfers to the highly-regarded 27-hole course.
The Golf Genius software will give a more professional feel to both member and external events, while making them easier to manage operationally by streamlining the club’s administration processes, with live mobile scoring, TV leaderboards, as well as online registration and payment.
Golfers will now also be kept up to date every step of the way with the software offering automated communication, meaning the club can now easily send out draw sheets and tournament results through text message and email, with players also able to check hole-by-hole scores and an instant calculation of results from their mobile.
Farleigh has begun rolling the system out across its marquee member events, including its Club Championships at the beginning of July, with a view of it being used for all member competitions from January 2022.
The software is also currently available as part of corporate events, charity golf days and societies, giving an extra element for those attending. For each event, a dedicated site interface will provide branding opportunities and the chance to showcase sponsors, in addition to managing registrations and posting tee times, results and more.
