ECCO – a golf footwear innovator – announces that ambassador Lydia Ko has combined her South Korean and Kiwi heritage with a custom version of the brand-new ECCO BIOMĀ® G5 shoe as part of the brand’s Autumn/Winter 2022 collection.
Reflecting both her personality and dual-nationality roots, Ko designed her ECCO BIOMĀ® G5 with cherry blossoms styled on one side of the shoe and black ferns on the other, paying homage to her country of birth, South Korea, and the country in which she grew up, New Zealand, respectively.
In addition, Ko’s signature is emblazoned on the inside of the shoe, along with her logo on the tongue, a fitting tribute to one of the biggest stars in the game who has nearly 30 tour victories and two major championships to her name.
