Acclaimed Ayrshire venue to host tournament for eighth time in 12 years following record-breaking 2025 event.
Dundonald Links, has been confirmed as the host venue for the 2026 ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open, extending the Ayrshire resort’s longstanding association with one of the marquee events on the global women’s golf calendar.
Marking the eighth time in 12 years the tournament has been hosted at Dundonald Links – and the fifth straight year in a row – the event will take place from July 23-26 as the world’s best once again battle it out over Kyle Phillips’ acclaimed links course.
A highlight of both the Ladies European Tour and LPGA Tour, 2025’s event saw England’s Lottie Woad emerge victorious on her professional debut, fending off a star-studded field which included world number one Nelly Korda making her first appearance at the event.
The event’s return to Dundonald Links comes on the back of this year’s record-breaking championship, where 11,000 spectators attended across the week – the highest in the tournament’s history.
Next year’s event will be the only LPGA Tour event held in Scotland across 2026 and will fall as part of the Tour’s European swing.

One of Scotland’s most popular golf courses since an extensive renovation by American architect Phillips two decades ago. The layout is known for its challenging bunkers and imaginative greens, earning a place among the star names of Ayrshire’s famous golf coast.

The announcement follows another landmark season for Dundonald Links, which continues to establish itself as one of the premier tournament venues in the UK. As well as the ISPS HANDA Women’s Scottish Open, Dundonald Links also played host to Open Championship Final Qualifying in 2025. Open Championship Final Qualifying is also set to return to Dundonald Links in 2026.
