Vattanac Golf Resort, Cambodia’s premier golf destination, in partnership with Vattanac Brewery and Vattanac Bank, has announced that it will host the Vattanac Legends Championship, the first-ever Legends Tour event in Cambodia, later this year from November 21-23.

This landmark championship will bring together some of golf’s most celebrated figures, including Ryder Cup captains, Major champions and international stars, marking an historic milestone for both Cambodia and the global golfing community.

The Vattanac Legends Championship will place Cambodia firmly on the world stage, reinforcing the Kingdom’s reputation as a rising sports and tourism destination. With international broadcast coverage, the event is expected to reach millions of golf fans across Europe, Asia and beyond, shining a spotlight not only on Phnom Penh and Vattanac Golf Resort but also on the unity, pride and progress of the Cambodian people.

Designed by six-time Major winner Sir Nick Faldo, Vattanac Golf Resort, managed by Troon Golf, features two award-winning championship courses that seamlessly blend world-class design with Khmer cultural heritage. Hosting the Legends Tour reflects Vattanac Group’s mission to celebrate Cambodia’s heritage, elevate national pride and build the country’s future through sport, hospitality and global partnerships.

Neak Oknha Sam Ang Vattanac, Executive Director of Vattanac Group, said: “It is an honour to welcome the Legends Tour to Cambodia for the first time. The Vattanac Legends Championship will showcase not only our world-class golf facilities but also the pride, resilience, and hospitality of the Cambodian people. By bringing Ryder Cup captains and Major winners to Phnom Penh, we are opening a new chapter for Cambodian sport and tourism. This tournament will inspire our youth, unite Cambodians in pride, strengthen international friendships and position Cambodia as a destination for world-class golf events and beyond.”

Phil Harrison, Legends Tour CEO, said: “The Legends Tour is delighted to announce its partnership with Neak Oknha Vattanac and The Vattanac Group to deliver Cambodia’s inaugural premier global professional golf tournament, taking place at the prestigious Vattanac Golf Resort from November 21-23, 2025.

“With Cambodia rapidly emerging as a destination for golf tourism, the recent opening of the Techo International Airport and the caliber of world-class partners already committed to the event further underline its significance. Set against the backdrop of the stunning Nick Faldo–designed course at Vattanac Golf Resort, this tournament promises to be a standout occasion on the Legends Tour calendar.”
