Sky and TGL presented by SoFi, the new, team golf league founded by Tiger Woods’ and Rory McIlroy’s TMRW Sports, today announced a two year deal covering the 2025 and 2026 seasons that will see every match broadcast live on Sky Sports in the U.K. and Ireland, Germany, and Italy. Additionally, Sky Sports has also secured rights for TGL in New Zealand. With the first match taking place on January 7, 2025, in Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., all matches will broadcast live on Sky Sports.
TGL features six teams of PGA TOUR stars competing in a season-long competition from January through March, all set in the custom-built SoFi Center. TGL fuses golf with technology on an unprecedented scale using a mix of innovations throughout SoFi Center’s field of play. Teams will face off in two-hour matches across 15 custom-designed holes in a hybrid of virtual and real-life action.
Jason Wessely, Sky Sports Director of Golf says: “TGL is such a new and exciting golf format that will
attract both old and new golf fans to the sport, in a year where golf has already seen significant growth.
We’re delighted to be able to be part of the TGL journey from the start, and bring golf fans closer to some of the greatest PGA TOUR stars in a way they’ve never seen before. We’re looking forward to working
together with TGL to make this the best possible viewing experience for fans, alongside our unparalleled existing golf rights throughout the year”

Mike McCarley, CEO and Founder, TMRW Sports: “As the media home of golf in the U.K. and Ireland,
Sky Sports is the ideal home for TGL to reach fans who are accustomed to turning to Sky to find the best golfers in the world on Sky Sports platforms across Europe. With five TGL golfers across four teams from the U.K. and Ireland, golf fans will have local players to watch and new teams to follow in this fast-paced version of golf that is rooted in the traditions the game.”
With this agreement, TGL will now be available in 85 countries and territories in its inaugural season with more to be announced soon. Previously TGL announced ESPN as the league’s U.S. media partner, as well as international media partnerships with Fox Sports in Australia; Telenet in Belgium; Sportsnet and Sportsnet+ in Canada; Golf Channel in the Czech Republic; Disney+ in Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway, and Sweden; Canal+ in France and Sub-Saharan Africa; U-NEXT in Japan; Ziggo Sport in the Netherlands; and JTBC in South Korea.

Coverage of TGL will be available to existing Sky Sports customers, or for instant, contract-free access to all Sky Sports channels, non-Sky subscribers can purchase a NOW Sports Day or Month Membership. Sky customers can also follow their favourite players and emerging stories via Sky Sports social and digital channels.
TGL joins Sky Sports Golf alongside the biggest golf tournaments in the world, including all men’s and
women’s Majors this year, the Ryder Cup and Solheim Cup, as well as the PGA TOUR rights until the end
of 2026. In addition to golf, Sky is the undisputed home of sport, with more top-quality sport than anywhere else and key rights secured until the end of the decade, meaning sports fans can access more of the sports they love than ever before.
Sky Sport Exclusive TGL rights: United Kingdom and Ireland (Great Britain, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland, the Channel Islands, the Isle of Man, British Forces Bases overseas, the Republic of Ireland, Gibraltar); SKY Sports Italy (Italy, San Marino, Vatican City); SKY Sports Germany (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Liechtenstein, and South Tyrol) and SKY Sports New Zealand.
