Original Penguin®, a division of Perry Ellis International, Inc., proudly congratulates brand ambassador Carolina Chacarra on capturing her first Ladies European Tour (LET) title with a commanding three-shot victory at the Hulencourt Women’s Open in Belgium.
Competing in just her third LET start, the Spanish rookie fired a bogey-free final-round 4-under 68 to finish at 12-under par and become the first rookie winner of the 2026 Ladies European Tour season. The victory also earns Chacarra coveted spots in two of the biggest events in women’s golf—the ISPS Handa Women’s Scottish Open and the AIG Women’s Open.
Chacarra displayed remarkable composure throughout the final round, making four birdies while holding off a talented field to secure the breakthrough victory.
“We are incredibly proud of Carolina and thrilled to see her earn her first Ladies European Tour victory,” said Oscar Feldenkreis, CEO and President of Perry Ellis International. “She has demonstrated tremendous talent, determination and poise throughout her young professional career, and this victory is a testament to the hard work she has put into her game. Carolina represents everything Original Penguin stands for—confidence, authenticity and performance with style. We look forward to celebrating many more milestones together.”
“The day went great and I’m so happy,” said Chacarra. “No bogeys, some nice birdies, everything was great. My caddie talked about it at the beginning of the round about sticking to my process. We gave ourselves lots of chances on the back-nine.”
“I was definitely nervous, especially the last three holes. I had a little bit of adrenaline so I was telling my caddie we needed to take some meters off the yardage. But it was great. My goal was just to enjoy the week and try to get into the Scottish Open. So to win is amazing and I’m very happy.”

As an Original Penguin ambassador, Chacarra represents the brand’s modern approach to golf apparel, combining premium performance with the iconic style that has defined Original Penguin for decades.
