Few names are as closely associated with MacGregor as Toney Penna. The visionary designer was responsible for many of the brand’s most iconic clubs, including the original MT irons—the tour-quality blades that became the benchmark for generations of golfers and helped define the modern muscle-back iron.
Penna was renowned for his uncompromising approach to club design, refusing to put his name on any club he hadn’t personally shaped, tested, and approved. Custom Fit Options
Both models can be customised through the MacGregor Golf website with a wide choice of premium aftermarket shafts available in Senior, Regular, Stiff and Extra Stiff flexes. Golfers can also specify shaft lengths from standard through ±0.5″, ±1″, ±1.5″, or ±2″, while loft and lie angles can be adjusted by ±1° or ±2°, creating a set tailored to individual swing characteristics and playing preferences.
