From Welcome Reception to Summer Shootout, Multiple Networking Programs Complement Education, Exhibits and Buying Opportunities
The 2026 PGA Buying Summit, hosted July 26-29 at the Omni PGA Frisco Resort & Spa, will complement its robust exhibits, education and product discovery opportunities with a dynamic lineup of evening special events designed to continue conversations that help attendees build relationships, exchange ideas and gain valuable industry insights.
Complimentary industry registration is available through July 1 at PGABuyingSummit.com.
Open to all registered attendees, the Summit’s special events program blends structured networking opportunities with organic social experiences, creating multiple daily touchpoints for meaningful connections among PGA of America Golf Professionals, buyers, manufacturers, industry leaders, influencers and media throughout the event.
“Some of the most valuable conversations at industry events continue beyond the meeting room or exhibit hall,” said PGA Shows Event Director Lisa Langas. “The PGA Buying Summit’s special events create additional opportunities for attendees to connect in authentic ways, helping them strengthen relationships, share business perspectives and gain insights that influence future decisions.”
The Summit’s Welcome Reception, sponsored by the Association of Golf Merchandisers, from 4:30-6 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, concludes the first afternoon of education in the scenic Omni PGA Frisco Resort’s Library and Lobby Bar. Featuring complimentary drinks and appetizers, the reception provides an ideal setting for attendees to reconnect with colleagues, meet new industry contacts and begin conversations that will continue throughout the Summit’s education, exhibits, appointments and networking experiences.
On Monday evening, following a full day of education sessions and ONE2ONE buying appointments, attendees will be joined by Dallas-area golf enthusiasts in the PGA District for the 2026 Summer Jam, an after-hours festival experience featuring live music, golf contests, an outdoor golf vendor marketplace and special access to PGA District dining and retail establishments. Summer Jam, running from 7-10:30 p.m., offers attendees another opportunity to continue conversations sparked during Summit programming while building new connections in a unique setting that brings together industry professionals, exhibiting brands and local golf consumers. Summit attendees receive complimentary food and beverages, access to dedicated networking areas and participation in industry-exclusive contests and giveaways.
Tuesday’s networking lineup includes a new social mixer for attendees from 4-5:30 p.m. in the resort’s Ryder Cup Ballroom Atrium, bringing together innovative brands, creatives and cultural influencers helping expand golf’s reach to new audiences. Curated by Troy Aguila and the team behind Gwop Meet, the fashion-forward gathering showcases a fast-growing golf culture collective known for fostering connections across golf, fashion, art and lifestyle. The mixer provides attendees with exposure to emerging trends, fresh perspectives and new approaches to consumer engagement.
Immediately following the social mixer in the atrium, the popular Fashion Show & Reception returns to Panther Creek Pavilion from 5:30-7 p.m., showcasing Spring 2027 apparel and accessory collections from emerging and established golf lifestyle brands. More than a product showcase, the runway presentation brings collections to life, giving attendees valuable perspectives on fit, styling, functionality and merchandising that can be difficult to evaluate from a showroom display alone. The reception before and after the runway presentation creates a vibrant networking environment where retailers, designers, brand leaders and industry professionals can exchange insights, discuss trends and celebrate innovation in golf fashion. Attendees will also vote on the Fashion Show People’s Choice Award winners, recognizing standout brands and collections.
Tuesday evening concludes with the Summer Shootout, a team-based golf competition at The Swing designed to bring exhibitors and attendees together in a spirited and collaborative environment. As the final evening networking event ahead of the Summit’s last day of exhibits, tee times begin at 7:45 p.m., and the best-ball format encourages interaction, camaraderie and relationship-building through friendly competition. Attendees and brands will be able to register their interest soon at PGABuyingSummit.com – participation will be first-come, first-served.
Together, the PGA Buying Summit’s special events complement the exhibits, education and buying opportunities by providing additional settings for attendees to connect across professional disciplines, exchange ideas, strengthen relationships and establish new business connections that extend well beyond the event itself.
