Business owners across the south of England need look no further than Basingstoke Golf Club for an outstanding way to give their employees and customers unique privileges and benefits.
Ahead of the Hampshire venue’s highly anticipated full opening, the club has unveiled a new ‘Corporate Partnership’ tailored to give companies rare access to one of the country’s most exciting developing golf venues.
At the heart of the club’s offering is the acclaimed new course, which was completely redesigned by Weller Designs when the club relocated to its new site in 2021. Partners can enjoy access to the downland layout from Monday to Friday as well as on select weekends – an opportunity not currently available to non-members.
As part of the partnership, employees and customers can also enjoy an exclusive 40 per cent discount on green fees when playing after 12pm, or 20 per cent when playing between 9.00am and midday.
Meanwhile, inside Basingstoke Golf Club’s modern new clubhouse – which opened its doors in September 2024 – the partnership entitles businesses to enjoy a food and beverage discount as well as a reduced rate on meeting room and function suite hire.
Priced at £2,500 plus VAT per package, the partnership bestows £2,000 of green fees at preferential rates and £500 of food and beverage upon the company’s staff (and clients), allowing them to take full advantage of the club’s hospitality offering even if not all employees or customers play golf.
Further benefits include each company being featured on the club’s website, promotional opportunities on the members’ club newsletter and the chance to send promotional material to Basingstoke’s member and visitor database twice a year.
David Green, general manager at Basingstoke Golf Club, said: “As we embark on this exciting new chapter in the club’s history, it’s so important that we connect with local people and local businesses, and that’s what the Corporate Partnership is all about.
“Businesses want to give their team and customers a place to relax and socialise and we’re the perfect place for that – and with the new clubhouse, non-golfers can still get plenty of enjoyment out of Basingstoke Golf Club.”
Basingstoke Golf Club relocated to a new site in the village of Dummer in 2021, building a first-class championship golf course that fully opened in 2024. The layout was joined by a state-of-the-art clubhouse, while an extensive range of practice facilities – including a golf academy, Trackman driving range and short-game area – are under construction and expected to open this autumn.
