Under investment of Arrow Global Group, Vilamoura continues to emerge as a leading global destination for elite sport and premium tourism
DETAILS has strengthened its position as a leading manager of sports and tourism assets in Portugal following the addition of Browns Sports Resort in Vilamoura to its vastly growing portfolio.
Located in the heart of Vilamoura, Browns Sports Resort spans approximately 53,000 square meters and is widely recognised as a benchmark in sports tourism in the Algarve. The resort offers villa-style accommodation, high-performance training facilities, a Health Club, Spa and restaurant areas. Its infrastructure is designed to host professional teams, elite athletes in training, and guests seeking active leisure experiences.
With more than 20 years of activity, Browns has established itself as an elite training centre and sports resort, welcoming hundreds of national and international teams across multiple disciplines. In Vilamoura, this vision has already translated into significant investments, including the renovation of the Old Course Vilamoura, the Algarve’s second-oldest golf course, and its clubhouse, the refurbishment of the Hilton Vilamoura, and the expansion of the award-winning marina. Additionally, the development of the largest equestrian centre in the country is underway, with a view to positioning Vilamoura as one of the key destination on the international equestrian circuit.
