Golf Genius, the leading provider of cloud-hosted golf software solutions, has announced a multi-year technology services agreement with the PGA of New Zealand (PGANZ), further expanding its global reach across national associations.

PGANZ joins a growing portfolio of national PGAs that have chosen Golf Genius’ market-leading tournament management solution, including the PGAs of America, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Holland, Japan, Portugal and Spain.

“This exciting cooperation extends our longstanding commitment to provide PGA Professionals with the best technology and support available in the market,” added Mike Zisman, Co-CEO of Golf Genius. “Whether through golf competitions, recreational events, group lessons, individual coaching or education, Golf Genius is dedicated to supporting the PGANZ and its members to positively impact the game in New Zealand at all levels.”

Golf Genius Tournament Management, the category leader in tournament management with over 10,000 subscribers worldwide, will be utilised to deliver comprehensive competition experiences across PGANZ’s full schedule of trainee tournaments, Pro-Am events, qualifying schools and scramble competitions from September 2024 onwards.

Golf Genius and PGANZ have also agreed to provide PGANZ members with access to Golf Genius’ coaching solution, CoachNow, currently used by coaches, academies, and national programs in 60+ sports across 140 countries.

Phil Ellison, PGANZ Chairman, commented: “Following a thorough consultative process conducted by the PGANZ board of directors, we were impressed by the knowledge, experience and commitment demonstrated by Golf Genius to support both PGANZ’s ambitions and those requested by our members.”

“Through Golf Genius’ Tournament Management solution, we will be able to enhance the PGANZ Pro-Am and tournament experience for Professionals and Amateurs alike with a range of in-app features, such as live mobile scoring.”
