La Dolce Vita Orient Express Italy and Antognolla Golf’s 2025 agreement will bring golfers to the award-winning resort in unrivalled elegance and luxury
Following the announcement of their partnership in June 2025, Antognolla Golf and La Dolce Vita Orient Express are preparing to welcome guests on an exceptional golf itinerary that combines refined rail travel with one of Italy’s most acclaimed golf destinations.
La Dolce Vita Orient Express is a new luxury train experience celebrating the glamour, creativity and lifestyle of 1960s Italy. Inspired by the spirit of the original Orient Express legend, first launched in 1883, the project reinterprets that heritage through a distinctly contemporary Italian lens , blending design, gastronomy and slow travel.
At the heart of the collaboration is the new La Dolce Vita Orient Express – The Golf Train, with its two itineraries, Italian Swing and Northern Greens, announced in June 2025, and includes several stops at Italy’s finest golf venues including as its highlight Antognolla Golf, which has been named Italy’s Best Course three times at the World Golf Awards.
The first voyage is scheduled for May 19th, 2026. Guests will travel aboard beautifully restored carriages that evoke the elegance of Italy’s golden era, where 1960s-inspired interiors, refined suites and Michelin-starred dining are paired with highly personalised service.
The four-day itinerary concludes at the breathtaking Antognolla Golf, nestled in the Umbrian Hills, where golfers will experience the world class Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course and outstanding amenities.
