Emirates Golf Club, part of the Viya portfolio, has been named Best Golf Club in the Middle East at the 2025 World Luxury Awards, recognising the region’s most exceptional destinations across the travel and hospitality sectors.
This latest accolade celebrates Emirates Golf Club’s continued commitment to excellence and innovation in golf and leisure. Home to both the Majlis and Faldo courses, the club has long been regarded as one of the region’s most iconic golfing venues, combining world-class facilities with a vibrant social and sporting community in the heart of Dubai.
Opened in 1988, Emirates Golf Club was the first all-grass championship course in the Middle East and has played a defining role in the development of golf across the region. The club’s Majlis Course hosts the annual Hero Dubai Desert Classic,
one of the DP World Tour’s most established events, while Emirates Golf Club continues to set the benchmark for service, sustainability and guest experience in the UAE.
Christopher May, CEO of Viya, said: “We are extremely proud of this recognition, which stands as a testament to the hard work and dedication of our teams at Emirates Golf Club. For over three decades, the club, and particularly our Majlis Course, has been a true pioneer of golf in the region. This award further cements Emirates Golf Club’s position as one of the Middle East’s leading golf and lifestyle destinations.”
Organised annually, the World Luxury Awards honour excellence across the global travel, tourism and hospitality industries, celebrating properties that consistently deliver outstanding guest experiences.
